there, you will be kept abreast of events and social walks as well as any class updates.

Basic manners like “come”, “sit”, “walking nicely on lead”, “handling”, “stay”, “go to your bed” and “drop” are taught during the course, as well as some basic handling and calming techniques. During the classes we discuss many common puppy problems such as toilet training and suggest techniques and solutions in class. The training isn’t just for your puppy!

No need to wait for your puppy (8 -14 weeks) to start puppy training, Let’s Go Fido!  runs an open enrolment for the Dream Puppy classes at 4 Paws Vets at their premises 154 Military Rd, Neutral Bay , which means you can start straight away.

The first thing you’ll do with Let’s Go Fido! is watch the Getting Started, videos The  Getting Started videos covers, how dogs learn, basic needs, reinforcement and motivation, body language, house training, biting, jumping and problem solving.

Once you have watched  videos, you can then begin your 5 Dream Puppy practical classes with your puppy. The Dream Puppy practical classes held on Mondays 7-8pm.Cost $240

After your puppy graduated the Let’s Go Fido! Dream Puppy course or if you have an older puppy, they can go straight into Walk & Train course, we build on the skills taught in the Dream Puppy course,  build up confidence in loose lead walking, recall (coming when called), and most importantly of all for a young dog, impulse control!

The Let’s Go Fido! Walk & Train courses are held at St Johns Church Hall on the corner of Warrane Road & Mc Clelland Street, Willoughby East. All classes are weekly and the Walk & Train course is 5 weeks long.
