Alexia Wellbelove

Animals have been part of Alexia’s life since the start – with guinea pigs, cats, and mice all featuring. Although she wasn’t lucky enough to get her first dog until she was 11, she hasn’t turned back since. Since completing her Zoology degree Alexia has worked in environmental policy and animal welfare for more than 20 years.

After a particularly challenging but gorgeous Border Collie ‘Jet’ came into her life, Alexia decided to improve her training skills. She quickly discovered her passion for animals extended to wanting to teach others. She enjoys seeing the practical difference a little knowledge can make to the lives of both dogs and their people!

• Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services as a Delta-accredited trainer
• Volunteer trainer at Leichhardt Dog Training Club
• Member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers Australia
